We would like to hear your views

Dear Patient,

We are thinking about moving services from Trinity Street to Bowthorpe, and we would like to hear your views. The Trinity Street building is becoming harder to maintain. Bowthorpe has more doctors, more appointments and better facilities.

We know that travelling further could be difficult for some people, so we want to understand how this change might affect you. Please share your views by completingthe online survey.

If you need help, please call 01603 748043. We will consider all feedback before making any decisions.

Thank you for your time.

Yours faithfully,
Trinity and Bowthorpe Medical Practice

Dementia friendly services

Trinity & Bowthorpe Medical Practice has registered to be recognised “dementia friendly”. We will be working with Alzheimer’s Society during the coming year and our staff will be participating in GP specific dementia awareness sessions. We will also be carrying out an assessment of how dementia-friendly we are and take steps to improve areas that need attention. We welcome any feedback about how we are doing from patients, families and carers.

For more information, support or advice if you are living with dementia, or caring for someone with dementia, you can visit Alzheimer’s Society website:

We will continue to assess the practice to ensure it is dementia friendly. We currently have the following in place

  • Staff are in the process of becoming recognised dementia friends
  • Named dementia champion
  • Offering longer appointments for those that need it
  • Regular reviews that ensure continuity with the same healthcare professional as far as possible
  • Dementia friendly signs throughout the practice
